Approach International is a Christian ministry which promotes the Gospel of Jesus Christ and supports worldwide ministry and social efforts that reflect Christian values. We are currently engaged in efforts in the Dominican Republic to form a movement of equipped churches and organizations to empower orphans and those who serve them. We welcome you to join our quest!
Meet Our Board
Kraig Neer, President
Kraig and his wife Megan have been married for nine years and currently have three children. Their biological boys, Kaleb and Blake, are seven and four years old. Mia is their 17-month old foster daughter who's brought joy to the family since she was just three days old! The Neers have been foster parents since January 2012 and they plan to continue in that role for the foreseeable future. Kraig works as a Procurement Analyst for the United States Air Force.
Sarah Hayson, Secretary
Sarah and her husband David have been married for four years and have been blessed with two beautiful daughters. Sarah has attended Apex Community church for nearly ten years, where she led Kid Life Worship for five years. She is an active member of a house church and an advocate for overseas missionaries. She works at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center as an Echocardiographer. Sarah has a passion for Christ, loving family and friends through hospitality and serving, raising her daughters to know Jesus, and sharing in the excitement with her husband for the Dayton Flyers Basketball team.
Sean Ryan, Executive Director
Sean desires above all things that his life would make Jesus look as great as he really is. Sean served as the English Pastor at Dayton Chinese Christian church from 2003 to 2008. He considers his family to be his most valuable asset. He and his wife, Jennifer, have 4 children and recently celebrated twenty years of marriage. They lived in Latin America for 7 years. They worked with vulnerable children and served as foster parents for four Dominican boys. Sean is currently the pastor of Bethel Baptist church in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Jeff Von De Linde, Treasurer
Jeff is married to Kristen and they met while working as missionaries with Mercy Ships. Jeff spent five years with Mercy Ships in West Africa followed by three years as a missionary with YWAM Destination Paradise in Belize, Central America. During his time with YWAM, Jeff and his wife participated in the establishment of a new mission training school in Belize. Jeff and Kristen have two girls and live in Dayton, Ohio where they attend Apex Community Church and participate in a weekly home Bible study group.
George Liu, Director
George has been with Dayton Chinese Christian Church since his family moved to Dayton in 1983. He has served the church in various capacities, including kitchen work, Bible studies, Sunday school classes, and occasional preaching. He and his wife, Pei-Te, reside in Sugarcreek Township. They have four grown children and two grandchildren. George retired from Eastman Kodak Dayton Operations after 24 years of service and Pei-Te retired from the Wright Patterson Air Force Base with 23 years of civil service.
Jeremy Lu, Director
Jeremy came to the Unites States in the early 1990's as a graduate student. Through participation in a campus Bible study fellowship he was introduced to Jesus Christ. Later he was saved by God's grace. Since he was given new birth into God's family, Jeremy has been actively involved in church ministries and college bible studies. He also partners with various Christian organizations to serve the Lord using his IT skills. He and his wife Carol are members of Agape Evangelical Chinese Church. They have 2 children and currently live in Dayton, Ohio.
